Through the Institute for Biblical Languages & Translation (IBLT) we aim to accelerate the training of Old Testament translators and consultants in order for it to be possible to begin OT translations in every language by 2033. We are dedicated to eliminating the Old Testament Gap, enabling access and engagement with the whole Word in every language and among oral and Deaf communities.
Join with us to reach the goal of seeing translators and consultants trained by 2033 so that full Bible translations can begin in every language and every person can engage with the whole Word of God in their own tongue.
Imagine a world where people don’t have knowledge of the creation story, the stories of faith in the Old Testament or even the 10 commandments. Right now over 6,500 languages, representing multiple millions of people, do not have the access to the whole Word of God. Most of them are without any foundation of the whole Bible.
We can radically change this picture in just a short time. With your help they can engage with their Creator and His Word, enabling discipleship and knowledge of God’s ways.
The most urgent need is for Hebrew consultants and mother tongue translators to be trained.
